AGREEMENT, dated as of May 16, 2018, among Deutsche Investment Trust, a Massachusetts business trust (the “Trust”), on its own behalf and on behalf of each of the Funds listed on Schedule I to this Agreement (each a “Fund” and together, the “Funds”), and Deutsche Investment Management Americas Inc., a Delaware corporation (the “Administrator”), effective with respect to each Fund as of the date set out with respect to such Fund on Schedule I to this Agreement, as may be amended from time to time.

DEUTSCHE DWS INVESTMENT TRUST (the “Trust”) has been established as a Massachusetts business trust to engage in the business of an investment company. Pursuant to the Trust’s Amended and Restated Declaration of Trust, as amended from time to time (the “Declaration”), the Board of Trustees is authorized to issue the Trust’s shares of beneficial interest (the “Shares”) in separate series, or funds. The Board of Trustees has authorized DWS CROCI® Equity Dividend Fund (the “Fund”). Series may be abolished and dissolved, and additional series established, from time to time by action of the Trustees.

This Amendment to the Sub-Administration and Sub-Accounting Agreement is made as of June 29, 2018 (the “Amendment”) by and between State Street Bank and Trust Company, a Massachusetts trust company (the “Sub-Administrator/Accounting Agent”) and Deutsche Investment Management Americas Inc., a Delaware corporation (the “Administrator”). Capitalized terms used in this Amendment without definition shall have the respective meanings ascribed to such terms in the Agreement (as defined below).

THIS AGREEMENT is made on the first day of August 2018 between Deutsche DWS Investment Trust (the "Fund"), a registered open-end management investment company with its principal place of business in New York, New York, on its own behalf and on behalf of each of the series listed on Schedule A to this Agreement (each hereinafter called a "Portfolio"), and DWS Investment Management Americas, Inc., with its principal place of business in New York, New York (hereinafter called "DIMA").
