This First Amendment, dated as of April 20, 1995, amends the Rights Agreement, dated as of April 12, 1994 (the "Rights Agreement"), between Abigail Adams National Bancorp, Inc., a Delaware corporation (the "Company"), and The First National Bank of Maryland, a national banking association (the "Rights Agent"). Capitalized terms used herein without definition shall have the meaning ascribed to such terms in the Rights Agreement.
