This EXPENSE LIMITATION AGREEMENT (the “Agreement”), effective as of April 1, 2017, is entered into between T. Rowe Price Associates, Inc. (the “Manager”), a corporation organized and existing under the laws of the State of Maryland, and T. Rowe Price State Tax-Free Income Trust (the “Trust”), a business trust organized and existing under the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, on behalf of the Maryland Tax-Free Money Fund (the “Fund”).

The undersigned Secretary of T. Rowe Price State Tax-Free Income Trust (the “Trust”), on behalf of the Georgia Tax-Free Bond Fund, Maryland Short-Term Tax-Free Bond Fund, Maryland Tax-Free Bond Fund, Maryland Tax-Free Money Fund, New Jersey Tax-Free Bond Fund, New York Tax-Free Bond Funds, New York Tax-Free Money Fund and Virginia Tax-Free Bond Fund (the “Sub-Trusts”) under the Master Trust Agreement dated May 30, 1986 does hereby certify that pursuant to the provisions of the Trust, the following was duly adopted by the Trustees of the Trust at a meeting of the Board of Trustees duly held on July 26, 2016:

THIS EXPENSE LIMITATION AGREEMENT (the “Agreement”), effective as of July 26, 2016, is entered into between T. Rowe Price Associates, Inc., a corporation organized and existing under the laws of the State of Maryland (the “Manager”), and each of the funds listed on Exhibit A, each of which is a corporation organized and existing under the laws of the State of Maryland or a business trust organized under the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts (each a “Fund” and collectively, the “Funds”).
