THIS AMENDED AND RESTATED DISTRIBUTION AGREEMENT (“Agreement”) is amended and restated as of the 28th day of July, 2017, by and between AMERICAN CENTURY GOVERNMENT INCOME TRUST, a Massachusetts business trust (the “Issuer”), and AMERICAN CENTURY INVESTMENT SERVICES, INC., a Delaware corporation (“Distributor”).
