THIS SERVICER APPOINTMENT, ASSUMPTION AND AMENDMENT AGREEMENT (this “Agreement”), dated as of January 2, 2007, is by and among Nomura Home Equity Loan, Inc., as depositor (the “Depositor”), Nomura Credit & Capital, Inc., as seller (in such capacity, the “Sponsor”), Wells Fargo Bank, National Association, as servicer (“Wells Fargo”), Wells Fargo Bank, National Association, as master servicer (the “Master Servicer”) and securities administrator (the “Securities Administrator”), and HSBC Bank USA, National Association, as trustee (the “Trustee”).
