This Agreement is made and entered into effective as of August 23, 2010, by and between the IQ Alpha Hedge Strategy Fund (the “Fund”), a series of shares of IndexIQ Trust, a Delaware statutory trust (the “Trust”) and IndexIQ Advisors LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (the “Advisor”).
