Valeant Pharmaceuticals International (“Company”) has agreed that in return for my signing this Separation and Release Agreement (“Agreement”), the Company will provide me with the compensation described in the attached Exhibit A. I acknowledge and agree that Exhibit A fully and accurately describes the total compensation to which I am entitled, including but not limited to, (a) compensation for my agreement to remain with the Company from February 1, 2008 until May 1, 2008 (the “Retention Payment”); and (b) all amounts to which I am entitled under the Executive Severance Agreement dated June 16, 2005, and that I am not entitled to any other compensation, benefits or retention payment of any kind. The Company and I agree and acknowledge that I ceased providing services to the Company on May 1, 2008 (my “Separation from Service”) and neither the Company nor I intended that I would provide services after such date, but am I receiving payment under California’s WARN Act through July 1, 20
