THIS SHAREHOLDER SERVICING PLAN AND AGREEMENT (“Agreement”) is made as of the 27th day of July, 2004 by and between THE PARNASSUS FUND and the PARNASSUS INCOME TRUST, Massachusetts business trusts (the “Funds”), and PARNASSUS INVESTMENTS, a California corporation (“Parnassus”).
