Republic Services, Inc. (the “Company”) and Michael P. Rissman (“Employee”) enter into this Employment Agreement (“Agreement”), which will become effective as of the effective date of the merger involving the Company and Allied Waste Industries, Inc. (the “Effective Date”). This Agreement outlines the terms and conditions under which the Company will employ Employee. The Company and Employee will be referred to as the “Parties” in this Agreement.
