Broadcom Corporation (the “Corporation”) is pleased to inform you that you have been awarded Restricted Stock Units (the “Units”) under the Corporation’s 1998 Stock Incentive Plan, as amended and restated (the “Plan”). The Units will entitle you to receive shares of the Corporation’s Class A common stock (the “Common Stock”) if you continue to serve as a member of the Corporation’s Board of Directors (the “Board”) through the applicable vesting date.
