AIG SUNAMERICA LIFE ASSURANCE COMPANY ("We", "Us", the "Company", or "AIG SunAmerica Life") agrees to provide benefits to the Owner in accordance with the provisions set forth in this Contract and in consideration of the Application or confirmation thereof and Purchase Payments We receive. THE VALUE OF AMOUNTS ALLOCATED TO THE SEPARATE ACCOUNT DURING THE ACCUMULATION AND ANNUITY PERIODS IS NOT GUARANTEED, AND WILL INCREASE OR DECREASE BASED UPON THE INVESTMENT EXPERIENCE OF THE VARIABLE PORTFOLIOS YOU CHOOSE. RIGHT TO EXAMINE - YOU MAY RETURN THIS CONTRACT TO OUR ANNUITY SERVICE CENTER OR TO THE AGENT THROUGH WHOM THE CONTRACT WAS PURCHASED WITHIN 10 DAYS OR LONGER AS MAY BE REQUIRED BY STATE LAW AFTER YOU RECEIVE IT, IF YOU ARE NOT SATISFIED WITH IT. THE COMPANY WILL REFUND THE CONTRACT VALUE ON THE BUSINESS DAY DURING WHICH THE CONTRACT IS RECEIVED. UPON SUCH REFUND, THE CONTRACT SHALL BE VOID.
