This Agreement and Plan of Reorganization (the “Agreement”) is made as of September 12, 2007, by and between John Hancock U.S. Government Cash Reserve (the “Acquired Fund”), a series of John Hancock Current Interest (the “Trust”), a Massachusetts business trust, and Money Market Fund (the “Acquiring Fund”), a series of the Trust, a Massachusetts business trust.
