EXHIBIT 10.14 FIRST AMENDED EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT This First Amended Employment Agreement ("Agreement") is made and entered into on April 6, 2000 effective as of September 1, 1999, by and between Equity One, Inc., a Maryland corporation (the "Company"), and Howard Sipzner (hereinafter called the "Executive"). R E C I T A L S A. The Board has determined that this Agreement will encourage the Executive's attention and dedication to the Company. B. The Executive is willing to make his services available to the Company and on the terms and conditions hereinafter set forth. AGREEMENT NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the premises and mutual covenants set forth herein, the parties agree as follows: 1. Employment. 1.1 Employment and Term.
