This Employment Agreement (this “Agreement”), is dated as of June 25, 2014 (the “Execution Date”), by and between Equity One, Inc. (the “Company”), a Maryland corporation, and Mike Makinen (“Executive”). This Agreement shall be effective as of July 15, 2014 or such earlier date as may be mutually agreed upon by the Company and Executive for the commencement of Executive’s employment hereunder (the “Effective Date”).
