THIS AGREEMENT is made this ___ day of ________, 2014 among WELLS FARGO VARIABLE TRUST, a statutory trust formed under the laws of Delaware (the “Trust”), WELLS FARGO FUNDS DISTRIBUTOR, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (the “Distributor”), and ____________________LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY, a life insurance company organized under the laws of the State of _____________ (the “Company”), on its own behalf and on behalf of each segregated asset account of the Company set forth on Schedule A, as may be amended from time to time (the “Accounts”).

THIS AGREEMENT is made as of February 20, 2014, by and between WELLS FARGO VARIABLE TRUST, a Delaware statutory trust (the “Trust”) on behalf of each series of the Trust now or hereafter identified on Schedule I (each, a “Fund” and collectively, the “Funds”), and WELLS FARGO FUNDS DISTRIBUTOR, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (”WFFD”). Absent written notification to the contrary by either the Trust or WFFD, each new investment portfolio established in the future shall automatically become a “Fund” for all purposes hereunder and shares of each new class established in the future shall automatically become “Shares” for all purposes hereunder as if set forth on Schedule I.

On November 20, 2013 the Board of Wells Fargo Funds Trust approved the establishment of the Alternative Strategies Fund. The fund is scheduled to become effective in the first quarter of 2014.
