THIS SEPARATION AND RELEASE AGREEMENT (this “Agreement”) is made by and between SUNSHINE HEART, INC., a Delaware corporation, having a principal place of business at 12988 Valley View Road, Eden Prairie, MN 55344 (the “Company”) and BRIAN J.
