Franklin Templeton Variable Insurance Products Trust (the “Trust”), Franklin/Templeton Distributors, Inc. (the “Underwriter,” and together with the Trust, “we,” “our,” or “us”), Farm Bureau Life Insurance Company, and FBL Marketing Services, LLC, your distributor (collectively, the “Company” “you” or “your”), on your behalf and on behalf of certain Accounts, (individually a “Party”, collectively, the “Parties”) have previously entered into a Participation Agreement dated September 7, 2001, as amended (the “Agreement”).

Effective March 1, 2017, the Participation Agreement (the “Agreement”), dated June 8, 1998, as amended, by and among Farm Bureau Life Insurance Company (“Company”), T. Rowe Price Equity Series, Inc., T. Rowe Price International Series, Inc. and T. Rowe Price Investment Services, Inc. (collectively, the “Parties”) is hereby amended as set forth below. All capitalized terms used herein and not otherwise defined shall have the meaning ascribed to such term in the Agreement.

THIS FUND PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT (“Agreement”) is made as of the 30th day of December, 2016, by and among: Calvert Variable Products, Inc. (the “Fund”), a Maryland corporation, on its behalf and on behalf of each Portfolio (as defined below); Eaton Vance Distributors, Inc. (“EVD”); Farm Bureau Life Insurance Company (the “Farm Bureau”), a life insurance company organized under the laws of the State of Iowa, on behalf of itself and certain of its segregated asset accounts (each an “Account” and together the “Accounts”); and FBL Marketing Services, LLC, (Formerly EquiTrust Marketing Services, LLC) an affiliate of Farm Bureau (together with Farm Bureau, the “Company”) .
