THIS SEPARATION AND RELEASE AGREEMENT (this “Agreement”) is entered into by and among Alexander Jung (the “Executive”) and American National Bank and Trust Company (the “Employer”), to be effective as of the Effective Time (as defined in the Agreement and Plan of Merger, dated July 24, 2023 (the “Merger Agreement”), by and between Atlantic Union Bankshares Corporation and American National Bankshares Inc.). All capitalized terms that are not defined in this Agreement shall have the meanings ascribed to such terms in the Employment Agreement (as defined below).

(the “Company”), and American National Bank and Trust Company, (the “Bank” and together with the Company, the “Employer”), to be effective as of the Effective Time (as defined in the Agreement and Plan of Merger, dated July 24, 2023 (the “Merger Agreement”), by and between Atlantic Union Bankshares Corporation and the Company). All capitalized terms that are not defined in this Agreement shall have the meanings ascribed to such terms in the Employment Agreement (as defined below).
