AMENDMENT (the “Amendment”) made this 23rd day of September, 2016, to the Advisory Agreement dated January 1, 2014, as amended, (the “Agreement”) between John Hancock Funds II, a Massachusetts business trust (the “Trust”) and John Hancock Advisers, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (“JHA” or the “Adviser”). In consideration of the mutual covenants contained herein, the parties agree as follows:

AMENDMENT made as of this 23rd day of September, 2016 to the Subadvisory Agreement dated January 1, 2014, as amended (the “Agreement”), between John Hancock Advisers, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (the “Adviser”), and John Hancock Asset Management a division of Manulife Asset Management (US) LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (the “Subadviser”). In consideration of the mutual covenants contained herein, the parties agree as follows:

Pursuant to Section 10 of the Distribution Agreement dated as of October 17, 2005, as amended (the “Distribution Agreement”), between John Hancock Funds II (the “Trust”) and John Hancock Funds, LLC, please be advised that the Trust has established two new series of its shares, namely, John Hancock U.S. Strategic Equity Allocation Fund and John Hancock International Strategic Equity Allocation Fund (the “Funds”), and please be further advised that the Trust desires to retain John Hancock Funds, LLC to serve as distributor and principal underwriter under the Distribution Agreement for the Funds.
