This Agreement and Plan of Reorganization (the “Agreement”) is made as of March 23, 2018, by and between John Hancock Small Company Fund (the “Acquired Fund”), a series of John Hancock Funds III (the “Acquired Fund Trust”), a Massachusetts business trust, and John Hancock Small Cap Core Fund (the “Acquiring Fund”), a series of John Hancock Investment Trust (the “Acquiring Fund Trust”), also a Massachusetts business trust.
