This Agreement and Plan of Reorganization (the “Agreement”) is made as of December 10, 2021, by and between John Hancock Short Duration Credit Opportunities Fund (the “Target Fund”), a series of John Hancock Funds II (the “Trust”), a Massachusetts business trust, and John Hancock Opportunistic Fixed Income Fund (the “Acquiring Fund”), a series of the Trust.
