The undersigned (hereinafter referred to as the "Subscriber") hereby irrevocably subscribes for and agrees to purchase the number of common shares of the Corporation to be issued on a "flow-through" basis pursuant to the Income Tax Act (Canada) ("Flow-Through Shares") set forth below for the aggregate subscription price set forth below (the "Aggregate Flow-Through Subscription Price"), representing a subscription price of $6.60 per Flow-Through Share, upon and subject to the adjustments, terms and conditions set forth in "Terms and Conditions of Subscription for Flow-Through Shares of CanWest Petroleum Corporation" attached hereto (together with the face pages and Exhibit 1 hereto, the "Subscription Agreement").
