THIS AGREEMENT AND PLAN OF REORGANIZATION (the “Plan”) is made this 8th day of December 2016, among John Hancock Variable Insurance Trust (“JHVIT”), a Massachusetts business trust, on behalf of the “Acquired Fund” and its “Acquiring Fund” listed below, each of which are separate series or funds of JHVIT, and, solely with respect to Section 9, John Hancock Investment Management Services, LLC (“JHIMS”).
