This Servicing Agreement (this “Agreement”) is made and entered into as of June 29, 2007 (the “Effective Date”), between Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., having an address at 1 Home Campus, Des Moines, Iowa 50328-0001 (the “Servicer” or the “Company”) and HSBC Bank USA, National Association, as trustee for the holders of the certificates issued by Deutsche Alt-A Securities Mortgage Loan Trust, Series 2007-BAR1 (including its successors in interest and any successor trustee under the Pooling Agreement as defined below, the “Trustee”) and acknowledged and agreed to by Deutsche Alt-A Securities, Inc. as depositor (the “Depositor”), DB Structured Products, Inc., as seller (“DBSP”) and Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., as master servicer (the “Master Servicer”) and as securities administrator (the “Securities Administrator”).
