All notices, requests, demands and other communications under this Agreement shall be in writing and shall be deemed to have been given on the date of service if served personally on the party to whom notice is to be given, or on the date of mailing if sent by First Class Mail, Registered or Certified, postage prepaid and properly addressed.

AGREEMENT, made and entered into as of the 1st day of September, 2000 by and among METROPOLITAN SERIES FUND, INC, a corporation organized under the laws of the State of Maryland (the “Fund”), COVA FINANCIAL SERVICES LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY, a corporation organized under the laws of the State of Missouri, (the “Company”) on its own behalf and on behalf of Cova Variable Annuity Account One and any current or future separate account which invests in the Fund (each an “Account”), each a separate account of the Company and METROPOLITAN LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY (“MetLife”), the investment adviser of and principal underwriter of the Fund.
