THIS CONFIDENTIALITY AGREEMENT (this “Agreement”) is being entered into as of May 11, 2006, between BIOSITE INCORPORATED (“Biosite”), on the one hand, and BECKMAN COULTER, INC. (together with its subsidiaries and affiliates, “Beckman Coulter”), on the other hand.

Reference is made to that certain Confidentiality Agreement entered into as of May 11, 2006 (the “Agreement”), between Biosite Incorporated (“Biosite”), on the one hand, and Beckman Coulter, Inc. (together with its subsidiaries and affiliates, “Beckman Coulter”), on the other hand. The undersigned agree as follows:

Whereas Biosite Inc. (“Biosite” or “Company”) wishes to offer employment to Robert Anacone (“Candidate”), and such employment will involve a relocation of Candidate to the San Diego, California area, Biosite and Candidate have entered into the following Agreement.
