THIS RETIREMENT AGREEMENT (the “Agreement”) is made and entered into as of the 29th day of December, 2006 by and between NEW YORK COMMUNITY BANCORP, INC., a Delaware corporation, and JAMES J. O’DONOVAN (the “Executive”), a resident of the State of New York.
