THIS EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT (this “Agreement”) is made and entered into on May 8, 2009 as of May 20, 2009 (the “Effective Date”), by and between Sprint Nextel Corporation, a Kansas corporation (the “Company”) on behalf of itself and any of its subsidiaries, affiliates and related entities, and Robert H. Johnson (the “Executive”) (the Company and the Executive, collectively, the “Parties,” and each, a “Party”). Certain capitalized terms are defined in Section 29.
