THIS EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT (the “Agreement”) is entered into by and between LANDMARK APARTMENT TRUST OF AMERICA, INC., a Maryland corporation (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”), and STANLEY J. OLANDER, JR. (hereinafter referred to as the “Executive”) and is effective as of the Effective Date defined in Section 1 below.
