THIS AGREEMENT, dated as of October 1, 2004, between TAIWAN GREATER CHINA FUND, a business trust organized under the laws of the State of Massachusetts and registered with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission under the 1940 Act (the “Fund”), and BROWN BROTHERS HARRIMAN & CO., a limited partnership formed under the laws of the State of New York (“BBH&Co.” or the “Custodian”).
