In accordance with Rule 13d-1(k)(1) promulgated under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended, the undersigned persons hereby agree to the joint filing on behalf of each of them with the Securities and Exchange Commission a Statement on Schedule 13D (including amendments thereto) with respect to the common stock, no par value, of The Eastern Company, and further agree that this Agreement of Joint Filing be included as an Exhibit to such joint filing. This Agreement of Joint Filing may be executed in counterparts, all of which taken together shall constitute one and the same instrument.
