This Separation Agreement and Release (this “Agreement”) is entered into as of ___________ __, _____by and among Eastern Bankshares, Inc., a Massachusetts corporation (“Eastern Bankshares”), Eastern Bank, a Massachusetts-chartered bank and a wholly owned subsidiary of Eastern Bankshares (the “Bank”), Eastern Insurance Group LLC, a Massachusetts limited liability company and a wholly owned subsidiary of the Bank (“EIG”), Eastern Insurance Group LLC, a Massachusetts limited liability company and a wholly owned subsidiary of the Bank (“EIG”), and ___________ (the “Executive”). Eastern Bankshares, the Bank, and EIG are sometimes referred to collectively in this Agreement as “Eastern”. Eastern and the Executive are sometimes referred to individually in this Agreement as a “Party” and collectively as the “Parties”.
