manner both on and off the field of play. Unsportsmanlike behavior that may include but not limited to gestures, cheating, disrespect to officials, coaches, players or fans will not be tolerated. It is a privilege to participate and attend an athletic contest; violation of the sportsmanship code of conduct may result in removal of such privileges. If a player or coach receives a game disqualification during an athletic event, that player or coach shall be ineligible for the next game or events (as per CAA policy). During a suspension, the player or coach may not attend the game/event in which the suspension is imposed. If a player or coach receives a second game disqualification/ejection during the season that individual will be suspended from extracurricular participation for such length of time that is decided by the administration.

North Star recognizes that athletic sports teams offer many life skills and are an enrichment opportunity for students with these interests and skills. Becoming a part of the team is a big responsibility and will take cooperation from both parent and athlete. Games are typically Monday and Wednesdays for volleyball, and most often Tuesdays and Thursdays for all other sports. Not all games will be hosted at North Star. Both parents and athletes must provide their own transportation to all games and practices. If you are interested in participating on a sports team, then you must make sure other clubs, and extra curricular activities you are a part of do not conflict with the practice or game schedule.
