Mutual aid requests are processed through County Fire dispatch, but only after someone at the emergency scene requests these additional resources. 5. Automatic aid requests are processed immediately upon receipt of the 911 call. 6. Automatic aid resources arrive approximately 8 to 12 minutes faster than mutual aid resources due to the differences in how these requests are processed. 7. In 2002, Paso Robles received mutual aid from Atascadero on 3 occasions, and provided mutual aid on 2 occasions. In 2003, Paso Robles received mutual aid from Atascadero on 2 occasions, and provided mutual aid on one occasion.
