I understand that if I am selected I must attend ALL rehearsals in their entirety and the concert, including snow dates as listed on the information sheet. I understand I must be a member in good standing of my school performing organization (if available) at the time of audition and the festival. This contract is a sign of my commitment to the all-county organization. I understand that any breach of this contract on my part will automatically disqualify me from any all-county participation this year and next year. I also understand that the concert performance will be professionally video recorded. Marching Band is an extra-curricular activity outside of the classroom. Since band performances are outside of the classroom, and not a required activity, students who choose to participate must commit to being on time for ALL practices and performances. This will mean rearranging work schedules or other activities. Unlike sports teams, there is no way of substituting for players who do not attend or do not perform up to standard. Failure to participate will be detrimental to the overall Clearwater High School Tornado Band organization.

If you need to miss a rehearsal, we completely understand and ask that you provide a note in advance if possible. If you should miss three or more rehearsals or have an unexcused absence, you may be dropped from the cast or crew.We have chosen a challenging theatrical production and are anticipating an amazing turnout. This means ample opportunity on stage and behind the scenes and more student accountability. All actors and participants will be held to the same standard of commitment and responsibility regardless of role or part. If you are dropped for attendance, excessive tardiness or a dramatic drop in your academic performance, we’ll invite another student to perform in your place.
