The University of Notre Dame du Lac (henceforth, “UND”) owns copyright of the collection of biometric images and serves as the source for the UND Biometrics Database. This dataset contains images for 575 subjects who identified as Caucasian female, with 6,669 images total, and for 687 subjects who identified as Caucasian male, with 8,419 images total. Image acquisition conditions and image quality should be very similar for female and male subjects, and this dataset may be useful for studying accuracy differences across female / male demographics.
