Garden City USD #457 is very excited to provide an iPad to paraprofessionals. The FCC recently created the Emergency Connectivity Fund that provided money for devices to assist school districts to meet unmet needs. The District applied for, and was awarded, funds to purchase iPads for paraprofessionals. The application focused on the changing role of paraprofessionals and ways in which technology could help support their work with students. This agreement between the paraprofessional and the District is an addendum to the Acceptable Use Policy already in place. The device will not be assigned to the paraprofessional until 20 consecutive days have been worked. This agreement must be signed in order for the staff member to be issued and iPad.
