The Province of British Columbia is pleased to present the 2011 Annual Report under the Labour Market Agreement for Persons with Disabilities. In March 2004, the Province of British Columbia entered into the Canada–British Columbia Labour Market Agreement for Persons with Disabilities (LMAPD) in recognition of our commitment to improve the employment situation of persons with disabilities. The LMAPD is a cost sharing agreement in which the Government of Canada contributes 50 per cent of the annual costs incurred by the Province of British Columbia for programs and services funded under the agreement, up to a maximum of $30.74 million.
