The Town of Chapel Hill is conducting a Town-wide energy efficiency program for residential Property Owners. Funding for this program is provided by the U.S. Department of Energy. Chapel Hill, through its contractor Clean Energy Solutions (CESI), has developed a network of prequalified contractors who will conduct energy assessments and complete home improvements for qualified homeowners. The Town will also provide subsidies from 20-40% of measure cost to incent deep energy efficiency improvements, with a goal of 15% or greater energy savings per home.
