Each September since 1996, Waldorf high school senior students and their teachers, have come to Hermit Island, Maine, to camp and work together in a beautiful environment surrounded by ocean. As far as we know, this is a unique experience for Waldorf education worldwide. We have a long established and positive relationship with the owners and managers of the campground. Along with us, there will be campers vacationing on the island who are not from our schools and expect quiet in the evenings.
