Tours must be approved and scheduled in advance. Visiting inside a jail facility is a privilege. Jail staff may immediately end your visit for violating a jail visiting rule or condition. The jail commander has the discretion to revoke your visiting privileges permanently. You must pass a criminal history background check to be eligible for a tour. This includes your not having been lodged in any correctional facility within the past 60 days and not being on parole or probation.
