5G Base Station definition
5G Base Station means any class of base station supporting or routing functionality added in the Third Generation Partnership Project’s Release 15 or later releases.
5G Base Station means any class of base station supporting or routing functionality added in the Third Generation Partnership Project’s Release 15 or later releases, in support of “3GPP New Radio” air interface connections (including between base stations), which provides services with advanced performance characteristics, such as very high data rates and capacity, low latency communications, ultra-high reliability, or supporting a high number of connected devices.
