A-weighted Sound Pressure Level definition

A-weighted Sound Pressure Level means the Sound Pressure Level modified by application of an A-weighting network. It is measured in decibels, A-weighted, and denoted “dBA”;
A-weighted Sound Pressure Level means the sound pressure level as measured with a sound level meter using the A-weighted network. The standard notation is dB(A) or dBA.
A-weighted Sound Pressure Level means the sound pressure level in decibels as measured on a sound level meter using the A-weighting network, as defined in American National Standard S1.4-1983 (R 1997). The level so read is designated dB(A).
