Academic activity means: [i] any assigned work or project used to determine academic credit, including (but not limited to) an examination, writing project, take- home test, or other project; or [ii] any competition, activity, or project sponsored or sanctioned by the University in which the student participates for the purpose of gaining an academic advantage.

  • Economic activity means putting goods or services on a market. It is not necessary to make a profit to be engaged in economic activity: if others in the market offer the same good or service, it is an economic activity.
