Acceptable Carriers definition

Acceptable Carriers. All insurance carriers participating on all layers evidencing the required coverage must carry an AM Best Financial Strength Rating (FSR) of A- and a Financial Size Category (FSC) of IX during the entire life of the loan. Carriers not rated by AM Best must be approved on an individual basis. Carriers must be licensed to conduct business in the state where the property is located.

  • Acceptable Waste means ordinary household, municipal, institutional, commercial and industrial Solid Waste including, but not limited to, the following:

  • Acceptable Flag Jurisdiction means the Bahamas, Bermuda, Panama, the Xxxxxxxx Islands, the United States or such other flag jurisdiction as may be acceptable to the Required Lenders in their reasonable discretion.

  • Accepted Servicing Practices With respect to any Mortgage Loan, those mortgage servicing practices of prudent mortgage lending institutions which service mortgage loans of the same type as such Mortgage Loan in the jurisdiction where the related Mortgaged Property is located.

  • Unacceptable Waste means all waste not authorized for disposal at the Columbia Ridge Landfill and Recycling Center or successor site designated by the City, by those governmental entities having jurisdiction or any waste the disposal of which would constitute a violation of any governmental requirement pertaining to the environment, health or safety. Unacceptable Waste includes any waste that is now or hereafter defined by federal law or by the disposal jurisdiction as radioactive, dangerous, hazardous or extremely hazardous waste and vehicle tires in excess of those permitted to be disposed of by the laws of the disposal jurisdiction.

  • Acceptable Collateral means the following assets of Borrowers, as long as such assets are (x) held in the Collateral Accounts, (y) subject to a first priority Lien in favor of the relevant Applicable Lender and not subject to any other Lien (other than Permitted Liens), and (z) the Collateral Requirement has been satisfied with respect thereto:

  • Acceptable Counterparty means any counterparty to the Interest Rate Cap Agreement that has and shall maintain, until the expiration of the applicable Interest Rate Cap Agreement, a long-term unsecured debt rating of at least “A+” by S&P and “Aa3” from Xxxxx’x, which rating shall not include a “t” or otherwise reflect a termination risk and is otherwise reasonably acceptable to Lender.

  • Federal covered investment adviser means a person registered under the Investment Advisers Act of 1940.

  • Participating Certified Clinical Nurse Specialist means a Certified Clinical Nurse Specialist who has a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan to provide services to you at the time services are rendered.

  • Non-Participating Certified Clinical Nurse Specialist means a Certified Clinical Nurse Specialist who does not have a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan to provide services to you at the time services are rendered.

  • Approved Vendor means a person who has been approved for inclusion on an

  • Professional surveyor means a person who, by reason of knowledge of law, mathematics, physical sciences, and techniques of measuring acquired by professional education and practical experience, is qualified to engage in the practice of professional surveying.

  • Carrier means a person engaged in the transportation of passengers or property by land or water as a common, contract, or private carrier, or by civil aircraft.

  • Qualified vendor means a vendor who:

  • Clinical nurse specialist means a registered nurse with relevant post-basic qualifications and 12 months’ experience working in the clinical area of his/her specified post-basic qualification, or a minimum of four years’ post-basic registration experience, including three years’ experience in the relevant specialist field and who satisfies the local criteria.

  • Reasonable and Prudent Operator means a Person seeking in good faith to perform its contractual obligations, and in so doing, and in the general conduct of its undertaking, exercising that degree of skill, diligence, prudence and foresight which would reasonably and ordinarily be expected from a skilled and experienced operator engaged in the same type of undertaking under the same or similar circumstances and conditions.

  • Approved Valuer means a firm of valuers recognized as such by the Income Tax Department and having experience of valuing at least 5 (five) properties exceeding Rs. 100 cr. (Rupees one hundred crore) each in value;

  • Acceptable Insurance Default shall have the meaning assigned to such term or analogous term in the Servicing Agreement.

  • Acceptable Use Policy means the policy located at xxxx://xxx.xxxxxx.xxx/aup (and any successor or related locations designated by us), as it may be updated by us from time to time.

  • Professional Engineer or Professional Certificated Engineer means a person holding registration as either a Professional Engineer or Professional Certificated Engineer in terms of the Engineering Profession Act, 2000 (Act No. 46 of 2000);

  • Direction-indicator lamp means the lamp used to indicate to other road-users that the driver intends to change direction to the right or to the left;

  • Generally applicable environmental radiation standards means standards issued by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) under the authority of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended, that impose limits on radiation exposures or levels, or concentrations or quantities of radioactive material, in the general environment outside the boundaries of locations under the control of persons possessing or using radioactive material.

  • Professional land surveyor means a professional land surveyor licensed under ch. 443.

  • Participating Durable Medical Equipment Provider means a Durable Medical Equipment Provider who has a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan to provide services to you at the time services are rendered.

  • Contract carrier means any person who, under special and individual contracts or agreements, and

  • Professional service means the same as defined under RCW 18.100.030.

  • Prudent Operating Practice means (a) the applicable practices, methods and acts required by or consistent with applicable laws and reliability criteria, and otherwise engaged in or approved by a significant portion of the electric power industry during the relevant time period in the Western United States, or (b) any of the practices, methods and acts which, in the exercise of reasonable judgment in light of the facts known at the time the decision was made, could have been expected to accomplish the desired result at a reasonable cost consistent with good business practices, reliability, safety and expedition. Prudent Operating Practice is not intended to be limited to the optimum practice, method or act to the exclusion of all others, but rather to acceptable practices, methods or acts generally accepted in the electric power industry in the Western United States.
