Accrued Season definition

Accrued Season means any playing season for which a player received credit with respect to his qualifications for Unrestricted Free Agency or Restricted Free Agen- cy.
Accrued Season means any League Year during which a Player was on a Club's Active Roster for 40 (30 if the Player is a goalie) or more Regular Season Games, provided that, for the purposes of calculating an Accrued Season under this Agreement, games missed due to a hockey-related injury incurred while on a Club's Active Roster shall count as games played for purposes of calculating an Accrued Season but only during the League Year in which the injury was incurred and a maximum of one additional season.
Accrued Season means any playing season during which the player accrued or accrues four (4) or more games in any League Year, including any of the following: (i) regular season games in which the player was on the twenty- four (24) man roster of a Team; (ii) regular season games during which the player was on a Team's Injured Reserve List so long as the player was on the twenty- four (24) man roster of a Team for at least one (1) game; and (iii) post-season games in which the player was on the twenty-four (24) man roster or Injured Reserve List so long as the player was on the twenty- four (24) man roster of a Team for at least one game during the regular season.

Examples of Accrued Season in a sentence

  • If he has not reported by that date, he shall not be eligible to earn an Accrued Season for the 2011 League Year, subject to a demonstration of extreme personal hardship as set forth in Article 8, Section 1(b).

  • If he has not reported by that date, he shall not be eligible to earn an Accrued Season for the 201 1 League Year, subject to a demonstration of extreme personal hardship as set forth in Article 8, Section 1 (b).

  • Any person who has signed at least one player contract with an AFL Club, but who has not yet achieved an Accrued Season, and who was also under contract to an AFL Club at the end of the prior season, remains subject to the exclusive rights of such team, subject to the tender rules of Article V, Section 2.

  • Any games for which a player is elevated in this manner to the 53-player Active/Inactive List would count for purposes of earning a Credited Season for both minimum salary and pension credit and an Accrued Season for purposes of free agency, even though player is playing under the aforementioned addendum to his Practice Player Contract.

  • Any player who meets the following requirements becomes an unrestricted free agent (UFA): Is 27 years of age on June 30 of the contract expiry year Has seven (7) Accrued Seasons where an Accrued Season is earned when the player was on the clubs active roster for 40 Regular Season games (30 if the player is a goaltender).
