Actual Energy definition

Actual Energy means as defined in Clause in 3.31;
Actual Energy shall have the meaning set forth in Schedule 5.1.
Actual Energy means the total number of kWh generated by the System in a given Guarantee Year, as measured by the monitoring hardware and as communicated to us by Customer in accordance with Section II.D. of this Agreement.

Examples of Actual Energy in a sentence

  • The TSC charge is applied to all Actual Energy Withdrawals from the NYS Power System under Part 3 or Part 4 of this Tariff, except for withdrawals by a Transmission Owner to provide bundled retail service or scheduled withdrawals associated with grandfathered transactions as specified in Attachments K and L.

  • For purposes of Rate Schedule 1 and Rate Schedule 11 of this ISO OATT, (i) a Limited Energy Storage Resource shall be responsible for charges or eligible for payments on the basis only of its Actual Energy Injections and (ii) a Day-Ahead Demand Reduction Provider’s Demand Reduction shall be included as Injection Billing Units.

  • The charges will be assessed on the basis of all Actual Energy Withdrawals by the Load, regardless of whether such withdrawals are scheduled or unscheduled, and regardless of whether they are scheduled on the Load’s behalf by the LSE or by another Transmission Customer.

  • The TSC charge also is applied to Transactions to destinations outside the NYCA (Export or Wheel-Through Transactions), except as provided for in Section 2.7.2.1.4 of this Tariff.Subject to the foregoing, the TSC applies to all Actual Energy Withdrawals regardless of whether the withdrawals occur in conjunction with a Bilateral Transaction or through the purchase of Energy from an LBMP Market.

  • The charges will be assessed on the basis of all Scheduled Energy Withdrawals from the NYCA.2.7.2.3.4 Payable by Transmission Owners Serving Bundled Retail Customers: Transmission Owners scheduling Transmission Service or purchases from the LBMP Market to serve of bundled retail customers shall pay the ISO Ancillary Services charges as described in Schedules 1 to 6 based on Actual Energy Withdrawals.

  • All NTAC charges are payable to the ISO.2.7.2.4.2 Payable by LSEs Serving Load in the NYCA: Each LSE serving Load in the NYCA shall pay an NTAC to the ISO based on the LSE’s Actual Energy Withdrawals.

  • The TSC shall apply to Actual Energy Withdrawals by the Load, regardless of whether such withdrawals are associated with Transmission Service under Part 3 or Part 4 of this Tariff or purchases from an LBMP Market, whether the withdrawals are scheduled or unscheduled, and regardless of whether the withdrawals were made on the Load’s behalf by the LSE or by another Transmission Customer.

  • Consistent with the definition contained in Module A of the MISO Open Access Transmission, Energy and Operating Reserve Markets Tariff, or its successor, a Load Zone is an aggregate area of consumption for a single Load Serving Entity within the MISO Balancing Authority Area and used for the purposes of scheduling, reporting Actual Energy Withdrawal volumes, and settling Energy transactions at aggregated Load levels, approved and maintained by the Transmission Provider to facilitate transactions.

  • The ISO will charge or credit each RMR LSE based on its share of Actual Energy Withdrawals in the Load Zone or Subzone (as applicable) for the relevant Billing Period.


More Definitions of Actual Energy

Actual Energy or ‘AE’ shall mean, with respect to a Unit or the Project for any period, the amount of energy, measured in Kwh by the Metering System in accordance with Article 9.1 of the Agreement at the Interconnection Point during such period.
Actual Energy means the quantum of energy actually generated by the generating station over a specified period and shall be measured at the generator terminals;
Actual Energy means the quantum of energy actually generated by the plant over a specified period (day, year, etc.). The measurement of Actual energy shall be “ex-bus” and shall reflect the energy sent out at the station bus bars.

  • Geothermal energy means energy contained in heat that continuously flows outward from the earth that is used as the sole source of energy to produce electricity.

  • Useful thermal energy means, with regard to a cogeneration unit, thermal energy that is:

  • Rechargeable Electrical Energy Storage System (REESS) means the rechargeable energy storage system that provides electric energy for electrical propulsion.

  • Net energy metering means measuring the difference, over the net metering period, between (i)

  • Net energy billing means a billing and metering practice under which a customer-generator is billed on the basis of net energy over the billing period.

  • Net Energy The total quantity of electric energy (measured in kilowatt hours) produced by the Facility over a given time period and delivered to the Point of Interconnection, as measured by the revenue meter. "Net Energy" the equivalent of "Actual Output."

  • boycott energy companies means, without an ordinary business purpose, refusing to deal with, terminating business activities with, or otherwise taking any action that is intended to penalize, inflict economic harm on, or limit commercial relations with a company because the company:

  • Renewable energy resources means energy derived from solar, wind, geothermal, biomass, and hydroelectricity. A fuel cell using hydrogen derived from these eligible resources is also an eligible electric generation technology. Fossil and nuclear fuels and their derivatives are not eligible resources.

  • Natural gas company ’ means a person engaged in the transportation of natural gas in interstate commerce, or the sale in inter- state commerce of such gas for resale.

  • Real-time Energy Market means the purchase or sale of energy and payment of Transmission Congestion Charges for quantity deviations from the Day-ahead Energy Market in the Operating Day.

  • Renewable energy resource means a resource that naturally replenishes over a human, not a geological, time frame and that is ultimately derived from solar power, water power, or wind power. Renewable energy resource does not include petroleum, nuclear, natural gas, or coal. A renewable energy resource comes from the sun or from thermal inertia of the earth and minimizes the output of toxic material in the conversion of the energy and includes, but is not limited to, all of the following:

  • renewable energy sources means renewable sources such as small hydro, wind, solar including its integration with combined cycle, biomass, bio fuel cogeneration, urban or municipal waste and other such sources as approved by the MNRE;

  • Renewable Energy Source means an energy source that is not fossil carbon-based, non- renewable or radioactive, and may include solar, wind, biomass, geothermal, landfill gas, or wave, tidal and thermal ocean technologies, and includes a Certified Renewable Energy Source.

  • Eligible Renewable Energy Resource or “ERR” has the meaning set forth in California Public Utilities Code Section 399.12 and California Public Resources Code Section 25741, as either code provision is amended or supplemented from time to time.

  • Natural gas utility means an investor-owned business engaged in the sale and distribution of natural gas within this state whose rates are regulated by the commission.

  • Electric utility steam generating unit means any steam electric generating unit that is constructed for the purpose of supplying more than one-third of its potential electric output capacity and more than 25 MW electrical output to any utility power distribution system for sale. Any steam supplied to a steam distribution system for the purpose of providing steam to a steam-electric generator that would produce electrical energy for sale is also considered in determining the electrical energy output capacity of the affected facility.

  • Energy Storage Resource means a resource capable of receiving electric energy from the grid and storing it for later injection to the grid that participates in the PJM Energy, Capacity and/or Ancillary Services markets as a Market Participant.

  • boycott energy company means “without an ordinary business purpose, refusing to deal with, terminating business activities with, or otherwise taking any action intended to penalize, inflict economic harm on, or limit commercial relations with a company because the company (a) engages in the exploration, production, utilization, transportation, sale, or manufacturing of fossil fuel-based energy and does not commit or pledge to meet environmental standards beyond applicable federal and state law, or (b) does business with a company described by paragraph (a).” (See Tex. Gov. Code 809.001). When applicable, does Vendor certify? Yes, Vendor certifies business entity that enters into a contract with a school district must give advance notice to the district if the person or an owner or operator of the business entity has been convicted of a felony. The notice must include a general description of the conduct resulting in the conviction of a felony.” Subsection (b) states, "a school district may terminate a contract with a person or business entity if the district determines that the person or business entity failed to give notice as required by Subsection (a) or misrepresented the conduct resulting in the conviction. The district must compensate the person or business entity for services performed before the termination of the contract.” Subsection (c) states, "This section does not apply to a publicly held corporation. Vendor certifies one of the following:

  • energy storage means, in the electricity system, deferring the final use of electricity to a moment later than when it was generated, or the conversion of electrical energy into a form of energy which can be stored, the storing of such energy, and the subsequent reconversion of such energy into electrical energy or use as another energy carrier;

  • Federal Energy Regulatory Commission or "FERC" means the

  • Hydroelectric energy means water used as the sole source of energy to produce electricity.

  • Solar energy means the sun used as the sole source of energy for producing electricity.

  • Energy means electricity, natural gas, steam, hot or chilled water, fuel oil, or other product for use in a building, or renewable on-site electricity generation, for purposes of providing heating, cooling, lighting, water heating, or for powering or fueling other end-uses in the building and related facilities, as reflected in Utility bills or other documentation of actual Energy use.

  • Natural Gas or “Gas” means wet gas, dry gas, all other gaseous hydrocarbons, and all substances contained therein, including sulphur and helium, which are produced from oil or gas xxxxx, excluding those condensed or extracted liquid hydrocarbons that are liquid at normal temperature and pressure conditions, and including the residue Gas remaining after the condensation or extraction of liquid hydrocarbons from Gas such that any Gas sold under this Agreement shall be of the quality as indicated in Clause 7.

  • Energy storage system means a system which stores energy and releases it in the same form as was input.

  • Capacity Storage Resource means any Energy Storage Resource that participates in the Reliability Pricing Model or is otherwise treated as capacity in PJM’s markets such as through a Fixed Resource Requirement Capacity Plan.
