Additional Component definition

Additional Component means any component with protective or hygienic function that is removed before the use of the product, e.g. the individual wrapping or film where some absorbent hygiene products are contained within the primary packaging (mainly for tampons and sanitary pads), the release liner and paper in baby diapers and sanitary pads, or the applicator for tampons.
