Additional Leave definition

Additional Leave means an additional leave provided to workers who are rostered to work a seven day continuous roster. Employees can cash out Annual Leave in accordance with employer policy and with employer approval. Without exception a minimum balance of 4 weeks (20 days) Leave must be maintained. Payment for cashed out leave will be at the rate the employee would have been paid if they took the Leave.

  • Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment Act means the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment Act, 2003 (Act No. 53 of 2003);

  • Disability means total and permanent disability as defined in Section 22(e)(3) of the Code.

  • Regulations means the Income Tax Regulations promulgated under the Code, as such regulations may be amended from time to time (including corresponding provisions of succeeding regulations).

  • B-BBEE status level of contributor means the B-BBEE status of an entity in terms of a code of good practice on black economic empowerment, issued in terms of section 9(1) of the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment Act;

  • Commencement Date means the date of this Agreement;

  • Act means the Securities Act of 1933, as amended.

  • Term Distribution Date" shall mean the "Distribution Dates" set forth under "Investment Summary--Essential Information" in the Prospectus for the Trust.

  • Fraudulent practice means a misrepresentation of facts in order to influence a procurement process or the execution of a contract to the detriment of the Procuring Entity, and includes collusive practices among Bidders (prior to or after bid submission) designed to establish bid prices at artificial, non-competitive levels and to deprive the Procuring Entity of the benefits of free and open competition.

  • Corrupt practice means the offering, giving, receiving, or soliciting of anything of value to influence the action of a public official in the procurement process or in contract execution.

  • Emergency means a condition or situation that is likely to endanger the safety or security of the individuals on or about the Project Highway, including Users thereof, or which poses an immediate threat of material damage to any of the Project Assets;

  • tender for income-generating contracts means a written offer in the form determined by an organ of state in response to an invitation for the origination of income-generating contracts through any method envisaged in legislation that will result in a legal agreement between the organ of state and a third party that produces revenue for the organ of state, and includes, but is not limited to, leasing and disposal of assets and concession contracts, excluding direct sales and disposal of assets through public auctions; and

  • the Act means the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act, 2000 (Act No. 5 of 2000).

  • Work means all Services to be performed, goods to be delivered, and any appurtenant actions performed, and items produced, conceived, or developed, including Deliverables.

  • Commissioner means the commissioner of insurance.

  • Working Day means a day (other than a Saturday or Sunday) on which banks are open for general business in the City of London.

  • Facility means any real property (including all buildings, fixtures or other improvements located thereon) now, hereafter or heretofore owned, leased, operated or used by Borrower or any of its Subsidiaries or any of their respective predecessors or Affiliates.

  • Day means calendar day.

  • Personal Information means information identifiable to any person, including, but not limited to, information that relates to a person’s name, health, finances, education, business, use or receipt of governmental services or other activities, addresses, telephone numbers, Social Security Numbers, driver license numbers, other identifying numbers, and any financial identifiers.

  • Force majeure means an event beyond the control of the supplier and not involving the supplier’s fault or negligence and not foreseeable. Such events may include, but is not restricted to, acts of the purchaser in its sovereign capacity, wars or revolutions, fires, floods, epidemics, quarantine restrictions and freight embargoes.

  • Code means the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended.

  • Change in Control means the occurrence of any of the following events:

  • B-BBEE means broad-based black economic empowerment as defined in section 1 of the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment Act;

  • Contractor means the individual or entity, that has entered into this contract with the Commonwealth.

  • Employee means any person, including Officers and Directors, employed by the Company or any Parent or Subsidiary of the Company. Neither service as a Director nor payment of a director’s fee by the Company will be sufficient to constitute “employment” by the Company.

  • Plan means any “employee benefit plan” (as such term is defined in Section 3(3) of ERISA) established by the Borrower or, with respect to any such plan that is subject to Section 412 of the Code or Title IV of ERISA, any ERISA Affiliate.

  • Premises means the location where the Services are to be supplied, as set out in the Specification.
