Administrative Materials definition

Administrative Materials means Works created by Faculty members in connection with their obligations relating to the daily and long-term operation, administration, and management of the College. Administrative Materials may include, but are not limited to, internet and intranet websites, department and committee reports, evaluation and assessment materials, survey responses, standards and criteria documents, faculty handbook and bylaws materials, institutional policies, institutional grant proposals, promotional, marketing, and recruiting materials, computer code written to serve institutional needs, and other materials created for the operations of the College other than teaching.
Administrative Materials means any materials created by Employees in the course of their employment for administrative and/or operational purposes. “AI Tools” means as defined in section 6.6.4, i.e. any machine learning and/or other artificial intelligence tools or machine learning language models. “Associates” means academics, researchers, scholars, practitioners, teachers and/or anyone else who is affiliated or associated with Queen Mary who are not Employees and who are not Students (including, visiting and honorary academics and researchers, retired and ex-Employees, post graduate scientists, studentships and all other engagements that relate to the participation in, or conduct of, research, scholarship, creating works and/ or teaching at Queen Mary. “Creator” means any Student, Employee and/or Associate who (either individually or jointly with others) creates IP. This includes, by way of example, inventors of an invention, creators of copyright works and developers of know how and technical information. “Employees” means Queen Mary’s academic staff; research staff, including research assistants; teaching staff, including guest teachers and course tutors; professional services and administrative staff; technical and support staff; graduate teaching assistants; anyone who has been seconded by their employer to work at Queen Mary (a secondee); interns; casual workers; agency workers; and anyone else who is employed by Queen Mary, whether full-time or part-time or on a temporary basis. "Intellectual Property"and/or “IP” means patents, rights to inventions, copyright and related rights, moral rights, trade marks, trade names and domain names, rights to goodwill or to sue for passing off, rights in designs, rights in computer software or business methods, database rights, rights in confidential information (including know how) and any other intellectual property rights, in eachcase whether registered or unregistered and including all
Administrative Materials means Works created by Faculty, Non-Faculty Employees, and/or Students through activities or obligations relating to the operation and management of the Colleges or service to the Colleges. Administrative Materials specifically excludes Scholarship Materials and Teaching Materials. Administrative Materials typically includes, but is not limited to, internet or intranet websites, department, institution, or committee reports, evaluation materials, survey responses, institutional self-studies, curricula, course descriptions, course proposals, departmental assessment tools, standards and criteria documents, faculty handbook and bylaws materials, institutional policies, institutional grant proposals or reports, promotional, marketing, recruiting materials, computer code written to serve institutional needs, and other materials created for the non-academic operation of the Colleges.

More Definitions of Administrative Materials

Administrative Materials means all material documents and any material amendments or updates thereto, in written format, generated in connection with the administration and servicing of the Prepaid Programs, pursuant to this Agreement, including the Program Policies and Procedures, credit and risk management procedures, materials related to servicing, disaster recovery plans, all privacy and data security administrative, technical and physical safeguards, response programs for data security breaches, privacy notices, compliance training materials and all other materials related to compliance with Governmental Requirements or the Rules.
Administrative Materials means all Copyrighted Materials that are created to support the administrative functions of the college and includes, but is not limited to, Copyrighted Materials created in the course of a person’s work on college committees.
